Street Artists’ Converge @ The Powerhouse
Friday, October 2nd – All day – Rain or shine..
Wilbur Powerhouse across Taylor St. from the Block Party festivities at Zoellner
Carve out time during Friday’s sesquicentennial celebrations to watch the action as seven street artists’ converge and cover the 3-D forms erected for the celebration in the Wilbur Powerhouse fountain court. This visual arts working exhibition was co-produced by A|A|D Professor Berrisford Boothe and Lehigh alum, Matthew Denton Burrows,’10, through his company ‘Dripped On’ Productions, with the enthusiastic support of Lehigh Advancement led by Advancement Vice President, Joe Kender.
Artists’ will be working in shifts throughout the day to blast the forms. Plan to stop by to see them work, chat, or,..yes…get some basic lessons on street art / graffiti painting etc.
The following ‘street artists’ selected by Matthew Denton Burrows ’10 (Dripped On Productions) will be participating in the exhibition. Check out their websites to view other works.
