R. I. P. Woofy

Woofy was the first official mascot of ArtsAlive. Woofy was the canine friend of our founding faculty member, Norman Girardot. In the beginning of the program, he would often grace the activities with a gentle sniff and occasional bark. He was always happy to mingle with people and get his paws into the action. He will be missed.

‘E was luv’ed, Luv!

Note from Professor Girardot:

‘E’s not pinin’! ‘E’s passed on! This DOGGIE is no more! He has ceased to be! ‘E’s expired and gone to meet ‘is maker! ‘E’s a stiff! Bereft of life, ‘e rests in peace! If you hadn’t nailed ‘im to the bed ‘e’d be pushing up the daisies! ‘Is metabolic processes are now ‘istory! ‘E’s off ‘is squeak toys!’E’s kicked the bucket, ‘e’s shuffled off ‘is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin’ choir invisibile! ‘E’S NOW AN EX-DOGGIE!!
