Tango Anyone?

Do you have a special occasion coming up that might include an opportunity to show some moves? Formal Dance? Fund Raiser? Wedding?

If you wanted to learn some traditional social dances that would definitely make an impression, there’s a great opportunity right across the river at Moravian College.
Students, faculty, and staff of Lehigh University are cordially invited to partake in a FREE series of classes aiming to get you from “no prior experience” to fluency in tango basics in ten enjoyable sessions. The classes will meet on Thursdays and Sundays according to the schedule below. The instructor is Andrew Kaye who has been dancing tango since 2003, and has been holding regular classes in Bethlehem for the last two years (he also teaches courses in world music at Lehigh and Columbia Universities). The dance series is sponsored by the Moravian College Tango Club, with the cooperation of Moravian College and Moravian Theological Seminary.

Don’t worry if you can’t make all of the classes. They’ll get all of you up to tango speed if you can at least make half of the sessions! The schedule is variable so please check it carefully. Please contact Andy (info@lavidadeltango.org) or Adam (polliniadam@gmail.com) with your expression of interest, and they hope to see you at the first class this coming Thursday at 5:45 pm in the Saal Hall, Bahnson Center (SE corner of Elizabeth and Main).
